Disco 2000

去年頭有朋自台灣來才信誓旦旦地說年中Pulp重組開唱一定會去看，沒想到說得異常興奮的自己竟然完全忘了這檔事，直到有次碰到香港朋友問我「都冇見到你喎，睇邊一場ah?」才猛然想想「痺! 我忘記哂!」所以現在要說多喜歡多期待這個90年代的Brit Pop天團總不免有點心虛，還好，過差不多半年就有機會彌補自己的粗心大意。看這些少年時期的樂團重組就是無限的懷舊，招喚那些永遠忘不了卻隨著時間被覆蓋一層薄薄塵埃的記憶，從熟悉的蛛絲馬跡慢慢拼湊昨日的激情，Pulp也不例外，團員還沒上台前螢幕打上一連串的問題，你記得什麼什麼嗎？我們都知道，開場曲會是”Do You Remember the First Time?”，果然跟在背景P．U．L．P四個大霓虹字母陸續閃爍地亮起來，字尾那個P一直忽明忽暗的招牌後，Jarvis Cocker那精力十足又有點頹廢無奈的嗓音，和非常自嗨卻有點怪異的動作回來了，有誰會忘得了第一次接觸Pulp的經驗呢?接下來那些膾炙人口的名曲一首都沒少，拿麥克風模擬陽具勃起的”This is Hardcore”，煙霧瀰漫的”Sorted for E’s and Wizz”，拿著偵孔攝影機從觀眾拍到自己臉上的”I Spy”，典型Jarvis式喃喃訴衷情歌”Babies”，吶喊到心肺裡去的”Common People”，還有介紹前吉他手Richard Hawley出場的”Like a Friend”，比較特別的是，這次是為Teenage Cancer Trust募款的慈善演唱，Pulp用”The Birds in Your Garden”向前幾天同地開唱的Paul McCartney的”Blackbird”致敬，以及因為是為了幫助年少的病友們，特別選了幾首早期Jarvis在20歲以前創作的歌曲，例如”My Lighthouse”(Pulp第一張專輯”It”的第一首曲子)，還找來當年錄音當合音的親姊妹Saskia和中學同學Jill Talbot一起重溫舊夢，不論對抗癌的朋友或到場的歌迷而言都可說是意喻非凡。Jarvis本來就是個自我解嘲的高手，如今這方面的功力似乎更精進了，順手捻來皆是這種類型的笑點，像他開始不久就詢問台下有沒有一起來的情侶，還說剛剛才碰到一對自稱一二十年前因聽Pulp演唱會認識相戀的男女，台下一陣歡呼鼓譟後，Jarvis接著說他們已經分手多年了，也不想再見到彼此，沒想到今天來這又碰面了，或是對歌迷說，我知道我是個很無聊枯燥的男子，我很抱歉，但我已經49歲了，要改變也太遲了，你們只好將就一下吧！之類的閑聊，這就是Jarvis Cocker，他的歌他的人常常或直白或諷刺幽默地替我們像說個故事般地道出了人生很多現實上的無奈與困境，因為如此，我們喜愛Pulp。

這是一個星期六的夜晚，最後當然少不了最應景最經典的”Disco 2000”。
