Butterfly

輕輕地拍起掌，搖曳起曼妙的身姿，相隔一年，Gretchen Parlato再度造訪倫敦，去年在Ronnie Scott’s是我第一次遇見這名爵士女伶，絮語般的聲線，卻又擁有極具感染力的感性張力，且完全不失細膩，任誰都難不被其迷醉，今年London Jazz Festival帶來新專輯”The Lost and Found”，在King’s Place有了更完整的演出，當然不能錯過。跟著Gretchen同來的樂團成員也都是一時之選，Taylor Eigsi負責鋼琴和鍵盤，Alan Hampton彈奏double bass，Kendrick Scott打鼓，各個身懷絕技，也賦予許多之前專輯的歌曲新的味道，爵士樂團多的是機會自由發揮，由Gretchen領軍自然是玩得更盡興更寫意，如果硬要找出一點遺憾，也可能是坐的位置關係，我最喜歡的double bass有些被鼓聲壓制的感覺(Alan Hampton本身是名非常出色的歌者與吉他手，和Gretchen在專輯裡的配搭叫人信服)，不過一點點小缺憾影響不了美好的夜晚，當Gretchen輕吟起旋律，一切都像蝴蝶拍拍翅膀，翩翩起舞，心神都跟著飛到那柔暢的境地。
